Sunday brunch in Richmond is a culinary experience if you are looking for a delicious and fulfilling meal to start your day. Originating in England in the 19th century, brunch did not find itself in the United States until the 1930s when Hollywood stars began having a late morning meal with a variety of drinks. With World War II encouraging women to work, on their Sundays off, women would often indulge in Sunday Brunch to get together with friends and family before returning to support their country the next day.

As summer comes to a close, the Rick Cox Realty team reflects on their summer and their favorite Richmond experiences. 

Q: The end of August is coming up, what are your favorite things to do with your family to wrap up the summer?

Rick: As a family, we enjoy going on walks in the evening to enjoy the nice warm weather.

Eleni: Every year the day before school begins, we take the kids to get ice cream. Marks the end of summer and beginning of the new school year.

Q: Did you go to a festival this summer? 

Eleni: Yes – We go to the Greek Festival every year at St. Helen and Constantine. They have the Best Greek dessert, Lukumades, Greek Donuts soaked in Honey
