Fall in Richmond has always been filled with events and activities for all ages celebrating the transition into the autumn holiday. While many events have turned virtual due to the safety precautions to combat COVID-19, there are still events being held in person. Take a look at the Rick Cox Realty's list of events and activities in the local Richmond and Midlothian, Virginia area:

Recurring monthly on the 2nd Saturday of every month featuring local vendors, music and activities for all ages from 5-10 pm.

Join this online tour of the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden’s spooky plants and habitats.

Free activities – Haybale Maze, Hay Rides, Picnic area and a field full of pumpkins with a variety of fall favorites, such as Winter Squash, Indian Corn, Pie Pumpkins, etc.

  •       Hanover Vegetable Farm - 13580 Ashland Rd, Ashland, VA 23005

Various other dates will include all activities. Tickets are $5 for activities and $12 for activities plus a pumpkin. Petting Barn will be open on week days.

Hours - Open Weekdays from 10:00AM-6:00PM and Weekends 10:00-5:45PM



  •       Swift Creek Berry Farm - 17210 Genito Rd, Moseley, VA 23120

Pick out your pumpkin from their variety and even check out their greenhouse area filled with beautiful violas, pansies, mums and more.

Hours - Open Monday – Saturday 10:00AM-5:00PM and Sunday 1:00PM-5:00PM



  •       Chesterfield Berry Farm - 26000 Pear Orchard Rd, Moseley, VA 23120

Find a pumpkin and enjoy a Barrel train ride, Wagon Train ride, 8-acre corn maze, Fun Zone, Animal Corral, Hay slides, and Corn Hole.

Hours - Open Saturday – Sunday 9:30AM – 5:00PM



  •       Skinquarter Farm Market - 20800 Hull Street Rd, Moseley, VA 23120

Free admission and free hayrides/corn maze attraction. Bring out the entire family to pick out a pumpkin and jump into the fall spirit.

Hours - Monday through Friday 10:00AM-6:00PM,  Saturday 9:00AM -7:00PM, Sunday 9:00-6:00PM



  •       Ashland Berry Farm Inc - 12607 Old Ridge Rd, Beaverdam, VA 23015

Delicious treats, activities for all ages and a free hayride to the pumpkin patch.

Hours - Open Weekdays 12:00PM-6:00PM, Weekends 10:00AM-6:00PM



  •       Lloyd Family Farms - 12204 Pinhook Road, Rockville, VA 23146, US

Come visit this genuine Virginia working-farm operated by 3rd and 4th generation Lloyd family owners! Lloyd Family Farms' Pumpkin Patch admission includes access to hay rides around the farm, a corn maze, a barnyard friends meet and greet, a corn crib for the kids to play in, and a 50+ acre pumpkin patch! Also, make sure to check out the local food trucks that are typically on site.

Admission is $10.00 per person. Children 2 and under are free!

  •       Coverly Farm - 12901 Coverly Rd, Amelia Court House, VA 23002

Check out Coverly Farm's Fall Festival open every weekend in October! Admission includes hay rides, access to their pumpkin patch, a petting zoo and a barrel cart train! Located in Amelia for our Richmond folks out West, come check out this farm property that includes 5 Miles of Trails, Civil War-era earthworks and 19th-Century Architecture!

Hours -  Open Weekends on Saturday from 10:00AM - 5:00PM and Sunday 1:00-5:00PM
