March Festival Guide 2020

Richmond is rich with culture and festivals celebrating the diversity of the area. Many types of festivals are celebrated each month with activities for all ages. As we move into March, Richmond continues to host a variety of events.

  • Craftsmen’s Classic Spring Art & Craft Festival – Richmond Raceway – 3/13-15

Featuring hundreds of artists and crafts people at the 36th festival. Take a tour and enjoy the exhibitions throughout the weekend.


  • 2020 Richmond Children's Business Fair - Dewey Gotwald Center Science Museum of Virginia - 3/14

A great way to get your children interested in the world of business and have them pursue their dream of becoming a young entrepreneur.


  • Pocahontas Trail Festival - Pocahontas State Park- 3/14

  • Shamrock The Block - Arthur Ashe Boulevard - 3/14

Celebrating its 16th year, this event is the first outdoor festival of the season! Plenty of food & drink, as well as, entertainment and plenty of green.

  • Richmond Winter Wedding Show - Main Street Station - 3/15

A great show of display for those planning upcoming weddings with plenty of vendors showcasing how to achieve your dream wedding.


  • Virginia Food & Beverage Expo - Greater Richmond Convention Center - 3/18

Taking place once every two years, come out to meet retailers, distributors, and food service representatives. Try their products at no cost to attend.


  • 2020 Midlothian Spring Extravaganza Midlothian - Swift Creek Middle School - 3/21

Egg Hunts, local vendors, food trucks, a moon bounce, cake walk and so many more activities for families.


  • Richmond Reptile Expo - Richmond International Raceway- 3/21

Bringing together individuals passionate about reptiles; this is a great educational exposition for all ages.

  • Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k - Broad St. & Harrison St. - 3/28
