Thanksgiving is a time for bringing families together and creating memories. We are thankful and grateful for being able to spend time with family, good health, and so much more. Q: What are your plans for Thanksgiving this year?

Melanie – “Our family tradition  is to go to our friends' river house and cook the delicious meal together there.”

As summer comes to a close, the Rick Cox Realty team reflects on their summer and their favorite Richmond experiences. 

Q: The end of August is coming up, what are your favorite things to do with your family to wrap up the summer?

Rick: As a family, we enjoy going on walks in the evening to enjoy the nice warm weather.

Eleni: Every year the day before school begins, we take the kids to get ice cream. Marks the end of summer and beginning of the new school year.

Q: Did you go to a festival this summer? 

Eleni: Yes – We go to the Greek Festival every year at St. Helen and Constantine. They have the Best Greek dessert, Lukumades, Greek Donuts soaked in Honey

Q:  Who do you want to win the Super Bowl!? Have you always followed this team? 

Eleni: "Not the Patriots!"

Harrison: "LA Rams! They have played close games all season and make spectating really entertaining!"

Rick: "Patriots! Haven't followed the team, but I'll root for the East Coast team."

Melanie: "Rooting for the Rams, since the Steelers aren't in it this year!"

Harrison: "Matthew Stafford"

Q: What is your favorite Thanksgiving tradition?

A: We usually eat pretty early,around 4:00 pm after cooking all morning as a family. I love going back for round two later on in the evening to enjoy the amazing food again and gain sustenance to face the Black Friday Shopping extravaganza.
